She is a member of the Associated Reflexologists of
Colorado, The Reflexology Association of America and The International
Council of Reflexologists.
Debbie started training with the Upledger Institute in 1998 and in
addition to Craniosacral Therapy (1 and II), has studied Somato
Emotional Release and Lymphatic Drainage Therapy. She is a member of the International Association of Holistic Practitioners.
Originally trained in England as a nurse and midwife (SRN and SCM), she
completed her nursing degree (BSN) at the Medical College of
Virginia-VCU. She has an extensive background in public health and
rehabilitation, including work in Thailand with Cambodian refugees. She
has worked in Denver with people with disabilities and counseled cancer
patients and family for 10 years with AMC Cancer Research Center.
Throughout
her career, Debbie’s vision is that of facilitating her clients’
movement in integrating body, mind and spirit and awakening to ones’ own
inner power and strength in the healing process. She does this with
compassion, education and active listening. As a Therapeutic Touch
(since the early 80’s) and Reiki practitioner, energy work is integrated
into her practice. She views the practitioner-client relationship as
intrinsic to the healing process. In a safe and nurturing environment,
she strives to meet your needs and brings the richness of her background
to provide you with a satisfying experience.
